The Power of a Thorough Evaluation At the Kozmary Center for Pain Management, our mission is to accurately identify, correct and alleviate musculoskeletal or neurological dysfunction. The first step in back and neck evaluation is to thoroughly assess the patients to ensure that treatment is effective, accurate, evidence based, reliable and appropriate for the patients conditions. This includes a thorough evaluation of the lumbar, cervical and or thoracic spine. Evaluation typically includes a patient’s history, objective measurements and specific test to establish the patient’s level of pain in order to develop an effective, individualized treatment plan.
